Plumbing Inspection Illustrations
Inspect-A-Home,Inc
Here is some illustrations of plumbing issues and plumbing in general. This is some common issues that come up on a home inspection and there is also some descriptions so if you have a plumber out for a repair you would have a better idea about what the plumber is talking about.
Here Is a very common problem I come across when inspecting a older house. Galvanized Pipes
over time corrode and have a lot of settlement inside the pipes. This leads to poor water pressure
and eventually leaking water lines. The only repair is to have a plumber out to evaluate all the
water lines and see how many of the pipes need to be replaced. Some times you only need the
horizontal ones replaced because these typical corroded faster then the vertical ones. The hot
water pipes also typically need to be replaced before the cold water pipes. Some times if there
really bad its best to have all the water lines replaced with new copper water lines by a plumber.
You will really appreciate the new water lines when taking that first shower and you'll wonder
why you waited so long to replace the pipes.
